By placing an order with The Garden Post, customers are accepting the following terms and conditions:
Postage and handling costs
Customers who are placing an order for over $50 of plants from our website are not required to pay any additional costs for postage/shipping, handling, or packaging.

The Garden Post will only send plants to addresses within Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Due to quarantine restrictions, The Garden Post does not send any plants or seeds to Western Australia, Northern Territory or any destination outside Australia.
Processing and dispatch time
Orders are packaged and sent within 5 days of receiving payment.
Shipping service
All plants are sent via AusPost (Australia Post).
Plant health
All plants are guaranteed to be healthy at the time that they arrive at the address provided by the customer.
Refunds
In the unlikely event that a plant arrives damaged, unhealthy or dead, the customer is entitled to a full refund for all affected plants. Plants do not need to be sent back to The Garden Post. To receive a refund, the customer is required to send a photograph of the damaged or unhealthy plants to The Garden Post within 24 hours of receiving the plants.
In the unlikely event that a customer is sent the wrong plants, the customer will be entitled to a full refund for plants that have not been delivered. The correct plants will be re-sent if still in stock.
The customer is not required to return the plants.
Plant availability
The Garden Post website is regularly updated to reflect current plant availability. However, in the unlikely event that The Garden Post is unable to supply a plant which the customer has paid for, the customer will be fully refunded for all purchased plants not provided.
Plant dormancy
Plants sent during winter may be dormant and not resprout until spring. Dormant plants may have leafless stems or may have no parts visible above the potting mix. Winter dormant plants are best planted while still dormant but may be planted after they have emerged from dormancy.
Accuracy of product descriptions
Photographs of the plants used on The Garden Post website are examples of how the plant variety or species may look when mature. They are not photographs of the plants in the pots that are being sold to the customers.
Plant descriptions on The Garden Post website and on plant labels are only a guide to how the plant may grow. They are not descriptions of the plants as they are in the pots or how they will look when received by the customer.
Plants may grow differently to how they are described on The Garden Post website and on plant labels due to different growing conditions (such as climate and soil type) and some genetic variations within the species or plant variety.
Health consequences
The Garden Post takes no legal responsibility or financial responsibility for adverse health consequences resulting from the plants being consumed by people, pets, livestock, or wildlife. The Garden Post takes no legal responsibility or financial responsibility for allergic reactions resulting from touching the plants or consuming any part of the plants.
Spread of plants
None of the plants sold by The Garden Post are noxious weeds. Some plants are self-seeding. Self-seeding can be minimised or eliminated by removing dead flowers before the seeds mature. Self-seeding can also be reduced by maintaining a layer of mulch around the plants which is thick enough to prevent seeds from germinating. The Garden Post takes no responsibility for plants which spread into areas where they are not wanted.
